Six years ago, I began working with a Pilates instructor who taught me how to focus on using my mind to control my body from the inside out. I suddenly felt confident, lean, long and strong without pain. I was convinced that the Pilates method would always be a part of my lifestyle. The experience led me on this journey to advocate for mind body awareness. I received my 500-hour comprehensive certification from the internationally renowned Pilates Sports Center (PSC) in Encino, CA. Like Joseph Pilates, I believe that physical fitness of the mind and body is the requisite to happiness and wellness. The benefit of added strength, flexibility and mobility that can be achieved through the Pilates method is invaluable. I incorporate this theme in every session I teach, and I believe it is the key to a well-balanced healthy lifestyle.
